In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Art Director at Art Pawn, an interactive project aimed to promote the sale of "used" art and to develop emerging curatorial talent. The project was housed at sk.ArtSpace, and each week of the two-month-long run featured a new exhibit developed by an amateur curator.

Throughout this rotation of pop up exhibits, both my raccoon puppet companion and I had many responsibilities, including hosting opening and closing receptions, managing sales, assisting the curators with the handling and the display of the artwork. I was very grateful that I was trusted enough by the curators to have a hand in the way each exhibit came together. Francois was just in it for the free wine though.
